Aryssa Redmond

Hi! My name is Aryssa Redmond, I am a senior at Marquette University studying Real estate and Corporate Communications. I am passionate about advocating for marginalized groups, and I aspire to be an emergency housing developer in the Greater Milwaukee area. I am a first generation college student from the lower income zip codes of Milwaukee, daughter of a preacher and daughter of a single mother of 4 boys and one girl.

I serve as a Co-President of Marquette's College of Business Administration Multicultural Student Organization. I also serve as an Assistant teacher with Evolve's church "Next Gen" preteen's ministry. Serving in these different areas has strengthened my leadership, communication, and mentorship skills while fostering cultural awareness and community engagement.

I believe in being a representation of Christ in every area of my life, honoring others and myself. Showing up consistent and bring fruitful in all areas of my life. My goal is to obtain a job after graduation working either with the youth, in the real estate field, or in the communications world.

Outside professional and academics, I love sports and to weight lift. I am very self motivated and an encouraged learner.
